NEVER YIELD TO DOWNTIME!

80% FEWER TOWABLE ACCIDENTS! ”

In the last year, Ex-Guard sat down with customers to listen to their stories and help ensure we fulfill our values of Safe, Smart and Strong. Our favorite was from one of America's largest fleets. Because of their self-insured status, every headlight, radar, bumper and hood damaged by an accident comes straight off their bottom line. In addition, every minute of downtime and every dissatisfied driver eats away at their profits. They found an 80% decrease in towable accidents on trucks with Ex-Guard installed. This fleet bet that an Ex-Guard on every truck would pay for itself in three years. Boy, were they right – it was just a little over two years. In fact, fleets can save $1,500,000 in damage and downtime every year for every 1,000 trucks. Ask us how you can reduce towable accidents by 80%...and never yield to downtime. Give us a call at (877) 848-2614.

EX-GUARD SAVES OVER $32,000 NEW HOOD - $7,500 NEW HEADLIGHT HOUSING - $2,200 NEW RADIATOR - $4,000 NEW CMS - $4,000 NEW BUMPER - $3,000 DOWNTIME (10 DAYS) - $12,000 _________________________ $32,700 + TOWING, LABOR, & FREIGHT LOSS!

How much coverage do you need? The expense of replacing your headlight is often times the equivalent expense of an Ex-Guard. After just one hit, an Ex-Guard pays for itself many times over. How should you choose coverage? How many bumpers, lights, hoods, collision-mitiga tion systems, etc…are you replacing? The cost of an Ex-Guard is generally less than an unpainted hood! NEW: XG & EX SERIES ARE ALL CMS VERIFIED!

CLEAR zone CMS COMPATIBLE TM

BUILT TO WITHSTAND A COLLISION & KEEP YOU TRUCKING!

Ex-Guard engineering teams have spent the last decade designing guards that avoid interference with CMS systems while leaving a minimum amount of the front end exposed to impacts.

XG and EX Generation 3 guards are the only guards that have been tested and verified by the collision mitigation system (CMS) radar manufacturer to fall within their established, “Verification Zone,” while at the same time avoiding the radar's, “Keep-Out Zones.” This aids in allowing the CMS to function properly and without inhibition. Ex-Guard has been verified to meet the requirements of CMS radar systems for Freightliner®, Kenworth®, Peterbilt®, International®, Volvo®, Mack® and Western Star® as of August 1, 2024. This verification provides confidence that fleets can purchase one guard size and style that will be compatible with many makes, models and years of truck. This also makes inventory management easier and operational efficiency much easier to achieve.

Shield your trucks from damage and downtime with Ex-Guard. Our guards are constructed of extremely strong high-tensile steel. Their con tinuous design is bent and shaped into position providing fewer points of welding. Then they are finished with a 1/8" thick corrosion and chip resistant EVRCoat™ Ultra Coating , making them virtually maintenance free. Ex-Guard will protect your trucks for years to come!

FUEL ECONOMY TEST - REAL LIFE TESTING

MESILLA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS Validates Ex-Guard’s Performance

“ Some of the radar components on a truck cost thousands of dollars. If you dam age or replace those parts, it can cost even more. More expensive electronics and body panels lead to more downtime waiting on parts...As technology has changed, Ex-Guard has done a great job changing and adapting their product to work with the industry. ” Chris Holtmeyer | Director of Fleet Maintenance | PRIME, INC via Freightwaves TV interview “ Ex-Guard’s product is a welcomed addition to Werner’s equipment and we’ve seen significant enhancements to our fleet. The augmentation has positively impacted the safety of our fleet while increasing uptime and decreasing parts and labor costs. These benefits have been invaluable to Werner’s day-to-day operations. ” Ben Murphy | VP of Maintenance and Equipment Resources | WERNER via Freightwaves TV interview

53-ft Hyundai dry vans equipped with Michelin Energy Guard aerodynamic systems, and both tractors and trailers were fitted with single wide-base tires. “Typically, interfering with the airflow on a vehicle can impact fuel economy significantly,” said Daryl Bear. “However, Ex-Guard products minimize their affect on aerodynamic drag because they are mounted several inches away from the front of the vehicle and are designed with round tubing, allowing air to continue flowing. Ex-Guard grille guards are not a fuel saving product, but our test ing should provide fleets with the confidence to consider their use based on maintenance and operational costs as opposed to fuel economy losses.”

Las Cruces, New Mexico – May 15, 2019 – MVT Solutions , a provider of breakthrough fuel economy testing and design and development services for the trucking industry, today announced that its evaluation of the Ex-Guard LT series grille guards, manufactured by Ex-Guard Industries, provides front end damage protection to trucks which have little to no negative impact on the trucks overall fuel efficiency. “Our testing found the Ex-Guard LT-325 grille guard had no dis cernible effect on fuel economy while the LT-350 had only a small negative impact of -0.51%, which is a smaller impact than the tractor’s side mirrors,” stated Daryl Bear , lead engineer & COO at MVT Solutions. “The results are what we expected based on feedback from fleets that already use our product, but we asked MVT Solutions to quanti fy the fuel consumption impact of our grille guards in an attempt to completely alleviate any concerns about MPG loss with our guards,” Dennis Geipel, a representative from Ex-Guard added. “We chose MVT Solutions for these trials because of their reputation in fuel economy testing and wanted to eliminate any questionable vari ables that might have remained. These verified results will now allow fleets to make a well-informed decision about adding Ex-Guard grille guards based on their ability to prevent costly front-end damage.” The certified testing by MVT Solutions was developed from race car engineering and advanced vehicle test methods using sen sors and recording systems that collect data on fuel consumption, aerodynamics, rolling resistance, driver behavior and other vari ables that affect fuel consumption. The data is analyzed using MVTS proprietary methods. For the Ex-Guard evaluations, two test vehicles ran simultaneous ly at 65 MPH on a 9-mile circle track. The 2019 International LT models were specified with Cummins X15 engines and Eaton 10-speed automated manual transmissions. The tractors pulled
